I finally got around reading the intro to Harmony House. I like the premise a lot and knowing what you did with Memory of my Shadow which was also set in a small environment with little characters, I am sure that this will be a memorable read. Great start, Ben! 🥳
Finishing "Same Walk, Different Shoes", I'm now checking my fellow authors' newsletters and the various fiction content they regularly publish. Harmony House looks interesting, so I'll jump on it. Some catching up to do, but once I do, it should be relatively simple to handle a post per week with the next turn in the story revealed.
Another reason to check serialised novels is to see the feasibility of it for myself. I'm currently working on two historical novels, which require a lot of research, so probably not suitable for serialisation. However, I would like to try it with my science-fiction work, which sounds more feasible. Anyway, I hope I'll enjoy your work and be a regular reader. Regards.
That’s exciting Levent! While I’ve serialized two of my novels, I have not written them in real time. That feels like a scary prospect but maybe one day I’ll be that good. I hope you enjoy Harmony House and the best of luck with yours!
So excited to finally get to read / listen to this! I had no idea what the setup was -- it’s 100% right up my alley. (Duh! No surprise there.) And, for the record, I *did* enjoy “Nine Perfect Strangers.” Cheers! Onward to open my Christmas present of chapter 1.
You've inspired me to serialize something I've been playing with for years. Actually did two NaNoWriMo years in a row (over 115 thousand words total) of unedited story that I will now edit and post weekly. So, thanks!
One of my favorite experiences growing up was reading The Green Mile as a serialized novel. I think it’s a lost art, and it’s something I’ve thought about doing again as well. You’re inspiring me. Break a pencil, my friend!
Thanks Ben! I’m glad you’re on board.

Thanks Claudia! I’m so happy you’re coming along for the ride.
I definitely am.
Looking forward to it!
I'm in and really looking forward to this. Great idea and it will be obviously take a real effort. Thank you for sharing.

I wondered if this might just be your jam given the themes.
