Brilliant. Brilliant episode. Very pleased to see Scott (my boyfriend) acting as the voice of moral reason. Bless Riley for choosing compassion, and Jessie for sticking it to the man ✊
This is the best episode ever. It's genuine, it's satisfying. No, not every scene should be satisfying. There needs to be tension. But this was the right time for a satisfying scene. Can' wait to see where it goes from here.
Yeah seems like a lot of people are rating this one really high. I think it's because of that self of group camaraderie at the end. You're really cheering for the whole group in what they do, but also beause you *show* this moment really well. It's their actions of writing on the paper that we see.
That makes sense but I didn’t see it as a standout. Just goes to show how much you don’t know about what will resonate with your audience until you get the feedback.
Absolutely. There have been some posts of my own I've been surprised have landed so well, too, which is part of the magic of this real-time publishing we have going here.
THAT cliffhanger! Aaaah! I love it. I just binged on four chapters and can't wait for the next. I loved the confrontation between Riley and Fran, and Jessie's renegade personality. So much to admire and appreciate in this story. I'm excited for the next one!
I’m glad you noticed the little musical interlude. I had to stitch two chapters together because one was very short. Thanks for reading and commenting Nathan!
Spitting mad over here! 🔥🔥🔥 So IF I were in that situation, I would have walked out the minute they said "someone's gotta go" after such a massive fuck-up, goodbye, the end, no thanks. But IF for whatever reason I didn't do that, Fran would be out on her ass. Ugh. You're killing me over here, Ben. I love it! 😂😂😂
Someone would be dead (Fran) and someone would be pregnant with Jessie's baby (me) and someone would be Mr. Mr. Troy Ford (Riley.) Not that we were playing Marry Fuck Kill or anything.
Ahhhhh!!! I was so hoping for this outcome! Super satisfying way for them to take charge. Take THAT, BangOn!! I really appreciated learning more about Fran. It helps me not judge her so much.
You set up that hope / expectation so well in the previous chapter (I keep wanting to say "episode"), but it wasn't a no-brainer or a given, so my cheer for them was spontaneous. 😊
Like everyone who has commented, I love the way the group came together to deny the BangOn people their completely unfair demand!

Is David aware of this relationship you have with Scott? ;-)
He’s very happy for us :)
I was just going to raise the same question as Ben! 😜
Your comments always elicit such a grin, Chloe 😆

My favourite episode (so far)!
Wow, that’s interesting. This chapter really resonated with folks. That’s surprising to me.

Thanks so much! I'm so glad the episode resonated with you.

Thanks Troy! Glad you’re still onboard and enjoying the ride.
I saw that coming, only because I would have done the same. The power, though, now reverts to the brothers, and the audience popularity contest.
Anxiously awaiting the next instalment.
(We already know the brothers went into this without any contingency planning. Sheesh, it's like being back in my day job. 🤦♀️)
Haha, yeah that’s exactly what I was modeling here. I’ve spent a lot of years in the day job. Thanks for reading Caz!
Yes Ben! What an episode. What a way to stick it to Schultz and Bang On. Can't wait to see how this plays out. 👏
Also, loved the little musicle transition you had here as you moved from Scott & Chris to everyone in the house.

Clever. Nicely done.

MTF, you would have been one hell of a character in this! If only I’d met you six months sooner.

Love it. 😂
Oooh who’s going to be out?? This is wild, Ben - and very, very addictive.
Thanks Jill! I was laughing earlier when I saw an email with the subject line: “Jill liked God’s Plan”
🤣 for the first and only time
Ahhhhh!!!! Brilliant!!!!! Stick it to the man!!!!

Thanks Julie! It was fun to write this chapter showing the group’s solidarity.

You get a car! You get a car! You get a car! 🤣
I’ll just confess right here that my fantasy outcome is a house for each of them. They’ve earned it.
