I’m just catching up after Christmas ‘bouleversements’ ! The recognition of mortality, making plans and the desperation… you wrote this brilliantly!!

Oh, Gerry, quite the unraveling! I really enjoyed this chapter, probably more than I should have... And that picture, with the crystal tumbler—so perfect!

It was a fun chapter to write. I’m glad it was as fun to read! Thanks for being here, friend. I so appreciate you.

This was a real favourite, Ben. You took the concept of Gerry having glimpsed the notebook and getting the info of his own death and compressed all the intervening years into such a detailed chapter of his life and woes and personality. Really skilled writing.

Thanks, Nathan. It was a fun one to write. I find it’s always freeing to write about people behaving badly.

Great chapter! Not sure how I missed it -- other than the holiday, etc. Gerry is really coming into his own, good for him. Can't wait to see how (or if) he pulls his plan off.

Thank you, Julie. Gerry does figure in significantly to the end game of the story (I still have yet to write!)

Oh, Gerry! The bitterness. Love that you’ve opened him up for us a bit!

I’m saying what’s been said. But damn you’re a talented writer!
