My sound was off, but I gasped when you said something at your Zoom event the other day that cued me in to how close we were coming to an ending of this one. I think it’s the sign of a damn fine writer when you’re like, but, no. I don’t want it to end! Even as you want to see what comes next.
This was hard to read! My hands were itching to play with those stamps. Your descriptions of the scene, the physicality of sipping and stamping, and the shapes and patterns on the canvas revealing a mystical scene were all riveting.
