I was rooting for Marabelle to say who she is but of course it’s better that she doesn’t. Love the choice to see the paintings through her eyes, including her emotional response. This feels like an alluring side quest. I wonder what will happen next?
I so often leave your chapters with a grin—one of admiration. Love the unfolding. Love all the details. It strikes me that your work, both the various novels, as well as within the novels, shape shifts much like Daedalia herself. 😊
Thank you, Holly! You’re absolutely write, I do shape-shift as my novels progress, for better or worse. It’s a side effect of being a pantser and not having a master plan when I begin a novel. I also tend to be restless AF. ;-)
Ahh Ben! How like you to add a new character so far into the story, I am intrigued... roll on lunchtime!
PS I auditioned for HOUZE, I hope it all registered properly, the wifi was not behaving!
Hi Susie, I saw you did it! Hope it was entertaining. And thanks as always for reading and commenting each week. You keep me going.
I am always entertained by you Ben, in the best possible way… thank you for your constantly incredible work!
Oh I want to know Harry’s story! Can’t wait till next week. Also, I hate those fictional critics. That’s brutal!!
Thank you, Emily!

It was tempting to have her out herself, but… she’s her mother’s daughter at the end of the day. Thanks for reading, Julie!
Way to stay true to the story.
